Folgende Tests sollten nach einem Update durchgeführt werden:
- Matlab
- Über Desktop-Link starten
- Script mit Emacs öffnen und ausführen.
- evtl. $ matlab -nojvm und $ matlab -nodesktop
- Mathematica
- Desktop-Link;
- Etwas ausführen
- Firefox starten
- Mozilla Alle Desktoplinks ausprobieren (ITP, Wiki, Webmail)
- Maple starten
- Acroread starten

Matlab Problem
$ matlab -nodesktop
folgende Fehlermeldung beim Starten von Emacs.
